Frequently Asked Questions — A New District 30 School

What is the Partnership Survey and who should complete it?
The Partnership Survey gathers basic information from Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), local offices, and businesses in District 30 to learn about your services and interest in collaborating with the new school (e.g., internships, workshops, family services, volunteer programs, donations).
What information does the Partnership Survey collect?
The survey requests organization name, primary contact name & title, email, phone, address or service area, a description of services/programs, the populations you serve, desired collaboration types, and optional file uploads for brochures or resource materials.
How can organizations partner with the school?
Partnerships can include hosting student internships, offering family services, co-hosting events, leading workshops or extracurriculars, volunteering, or donating resources. Indicate your interests in the survey and the planning team will follow up.
How can families express interest or get updates?
Families should complete the Family/Student Interest Form. That form collects parent/guardian name, student name & date of birth, email, phone, and zip code so the team can share open house dates, application timelines, and other updates.
When will the school open?
The new public school in District 30 is scheduled to open in September 2026. Current outreach efforts (listening sessions, partnerships, family sign-ups) will help shape programming before opening.
Are survey responses and uploaded files kept confidential?
Responses are used for planning and outreach. When files are uploaded via a Google form, the uploader’s Google account name and email may be recorded by Google. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal data. If you need an alternate way to share materials, use the Partnership Survey and indicate your preference.
What file types and size limits apply?
The survey accepts up to 10 files (max 10 MB per file). Use uploads for brochures, flyers, or resource sheets that could be shared with families and community partners.
How will partner and family feedback be used?
Feedback informs programming, supports, staffing priorities, and partnerships for the new school. Input gathered through surveys and listening sessions will guide planning leading up to the September 2026 opening.
